Precision Cutting
Most aluminum extrusions do not remain in stock lengths for the life of the part. MEA provides secondary cutting on the majority of the extrusions we produce. MEA’s current precision cutting capabilities includes:
- Five automatic precision straight cut METLSAWS
- Precision tolerances as low as ± .005″ depending on profile and length requirements
- Standard cutting tolerances ranging from ± .010″ to ± .030″
- Miter cutting on a limited basis (outsourced to a supplier of MEA)
