Even with the LME price for raw aluminum increasing, the Midwest Average price for aluminum dropped $0.03 per pound through October to close the month at $1.22 per pound (rounded two places).  Inventory levels at the LME also increased through October, adding to the hope that the trend of price decreases may continue.
